CALLBACK NOTICES HAVE BEEN SENT TO EVERY AUDITIONER

We will be accepting video auditions starting March 18, 2026. In-Person Auditions will be April 17 & 18th.  Callbacks will be May 8th and 9th. Performances will be July 30, 31, Aug 1, & Aug 3.

CAST MEMBERS WILL NOT BE NEEDED FOR EVERY REHEARSAL! 2-3 REHEARSALS PER WEEK. Rehearsals will increase in length and frequency the last 3 weeks as Tech rehearsals start. Rehearsals will be held at Advantage Arts Academy in Herriman. Performances will be at Mountain Creek Middle School.

 There is no fee to audition. If you are cast, there is a $125 fee due by June 8, 2026. If you are participating in Tech, there is no fee.

You will fill out either the in-person audition form, or the Video Audition Form.  If you are doing a Video Audition, please follow the instructions in the link below to create a YouTube video. Please copy and paste the link into the audition form. Once you have completed the dance and vocal audition videos, you're ready to click the "Audition Now" button! Please choose the correct Audition Form- Either Video Audition or In-Person Audition.

• You will prepare 30 seconds to 1 minute of any song of your choice in the style of Newsies. Usually this equates to a verse and a chorus or a verse, bridge and chorus. Please start this portion with your slate. (Name, age, what part you are auditioning for and the song you will perform)
• You will learn the audition dance provided for you in the link below for in-person auditions. If doing a video audition, you will record yourself dancing. Please record your dance video in one file if doing more than one dance section. 
• If you are auditioning for tech crew, please upload your tech video link to the dance and vocal sections as well as the tech crew video portion.
• You will then fill out either the In-Person Audition Form, or the Video Audition Form.  If you are doing a Video Audition, please follow the instructions in the link below to create a YouTube video. Please copy and paste the link into the audition form.
• Once you have completed the dance and vocal audition videos, you're ready to click the "Audition Now" button! Please choose the correct Audition Form- Either Video Audition or In-Person Audition.
