Register for our musical theater classes for youth

This beginning to intermediate-level musical theater summer camp for youth is a wonderful experience to help our younger performers refine the foundational techniques of music, dance, and theater.  It is the perfect introduction to the musical theater world and performing. This camp will help prepare for upcoming auditions for future productions.

JULY 8-12 (9 am-12 pm)

JULY 29- AUG 2 (1:30 pm- 4:30 pm)

OR Aug 5-9 (9 am-12 pm)

All Camps held at Advantage Arts Academy in Herriman

Participants will:

- be immersed in activities and workshops.

- receive individual coaching and training.

-  increase their skill level in singing, acting and dancing.

- Work to perform musical ensemble numbers.

- learn how to prepare a solid audition.

- learn how to create a resume.

- use these skills to prepare a performance at the end of the camp for parents and friends. 

- create lasting friendships and unforgettable memories.

Camp will include vocal numbers, scenes, and dance numbers  from the music of Finding Neverland, 

Mary Poppins, Matilda, Sound of Music, and more.

The camp will run for 5 days from either 9 am-12 pm or 1:30-4:30 pm depending on the week you choose.  This is a fast-paced camp so participation is required for all days of camp including the performance. We will have a performance on the Friday evening of each session at 7:00 pm.

 All participants will receive a Rising Star water bottle, a memorabilia wristband and a performance t-shirt.  Please bring 1 or 2  snacks per day for their breaks.  Each session will be limited to 20 boys and 20 girls to give each participant a quality experience. Spots fill quickly, so register today!

This intermediate to advanced-level musical theater summer camp for teens is a wonderful way to help fine-tune and build upon the skills these teens have accrued. Even if your teen is a beginner, we are prepared to catch them up in this intensive camp.  It will help prepare for upcoming auditions for future productions.

- receive individual coaching and training  to acquire new skills.

- work with an ensemble to perform group musical and dance numbers, and acting scenes.

- learn how to prepare a solid audition, a resume, and how to choose appropriate audition material. 

- prepare for a final performance for parents and friends.  

- create lasting friendships and unforgettable memories.

Camp will include vocal numbers, scenes, and dance numbers  from the music of Finding Neverland, 

Dear Evan Hansen, Mean Girls, High School Musical 2, 

and more.

The camp will run for 5 days from either 9 am-1 pm or 12:30- 4:30 pm depending on the week you choose.  This is a fast-paced camp so participation is required for all days of camp including the performance. We will have a performance on the Friday evening of each session at 7:00 pm.
