This takes place in the von Trapp family home, with Maria taking her place as the new governess for the 7 (yes, 7!) children of Captain von Trapp. The children are not too keen on the idea of a new governess.

In this song we see the world through a child's eyes. We see hopes and dreams and all of the magical things that make childhood so wonderful. We see children with strength, hope, and a desire to keep adulthood filled with the simple things in life...and the fearlessness to always face adversity with courage and bravery.
